Some people test the waters before jumping into something new. Some take longer time than the others. It is that phase where every possibilities with their probabilities, opportunity costs, best and worst case scenarios are all gathered and considered.
Some people just jump straight in.
There isn't any formula that can corroborate excellent results. Having a long time to contemplate about jumping in doesn't necessarily guarantee that the result will be better than having shorter time.
When we thought that we've reached "the" decision and actually jumped in, we sometimes become paranoid, worrying too much about what we haven't put in to the calculations, scared of making the wrong decision, failing, and missing out.. the risks. Trapped in our own egoistic mindsets.
But life is all about choices and risks. We can't have all, we have to choose, so all we can do is believe in ourselves and not waste what we have, and everything's gonna be alright.
You, too, will be alright, sis...
