Now I know why

Every rule is made for a reason.. whether it's established by a proper authority or your own mom. However, everybody knows that rules are there to be broken.

A while ago I posted the 10 golden rules of lomography I found on the net. One of them is to shoot from the hip, which I've always ignored cos I want to see through the range finder (why build a range finder if it's not supposed to be used, right??!).

So one time, I took my fisheye camera out and pointed it to a group of friends who were chatting around, minding their business. In a couple of seconds, all of them realized that there's a camera pointing at them and suddenly were ready in their own poses. I thought.. boy, that was quick.. and quickly hit the shutter release button. As soon as the flash splashed, all of them gathered around me and tried to find something at the back of my camera.. It took me some time to get what they wanted. An LCD. So I was then bombarded with dozens of questions about why I'm still using film camera.

Hmpft.. Should've just made the shot from the hip.
