Wo/Men bloggers

Something I noticed recently, men and women have very different things to blog about (not because I'm too ignorant, but because I only read mine). Women usually treat blog as their personal diary, i.e. telling the whole world their personal lives, where they go, what they do, those kind of things. While men blog about their hobbies and interests - sports, music - but never have I found one who writes about how his date went.

That comes in line with the tiny research I just did. According to a 1 year old article I found "Men are from Google, Women are from Yahoo" by Jason Lee Miller, men and women use the internet for different reasons. He gave some examples which I think are somewhat too prototyping, but maybe true.. for people around his age. He's the one doing the real research anyway, so I'll take his words on it.

I might be a half feminist, a quarter full-time housewife type, and a quarter ignorant, which makes me proportional as a woman =o) I am one of those females who demand equality and reckon a woman can do whatever a man can (as long as it's physically possible). But, I don't have any intention to start violence against men, just to be equal with them (so women will have something like a white ribbon day) Don't get me wrong.

However, what I'll do is... I will write my posts un-girlishly. There's not gonna be anymore posts about how happy I am because I had a great day at work or how sad I am cos my baby's leaving. No! (but that's starting next year... hehehe) I'll write about my hobbies and some informational crap as a change.

Since I am one of those weirdos who don't have a hobby. I should first look for one.
That is one of my new year's resolutions for 2007. I'm gonna try a whole lot of different things until I found something I like. And if I didn't, at least I won't die wondering.

I'll keep you updated.
