Is it that the job has taken them so far away from people or place they love? Or is it one of the ways to express oneself.. So people who walk past your desk would be able to guess what you are like by looking at what you've got on your desk and wall.. Or maybe.. it's how one marks one's teritorry. It's like when a dog wees on a tree. For whatever reason it is, I reckon it is good to do so (esp. for the company) because it shows a sense of belongingness.. commitment. This is so much different from my previous workplace.. nobody puts anything on their desk (except for the owner of the company, who has everything all over the place) and some of them are rarely in good mood. Which has somehow traumatized me a little bit.
Oh! OH! I saw the cutest little thing on planet yesterday. There was a puppy pug (black, not the normal browns) at pet's paradise. I was with me Te, who I think lives on a "touching is believing" motto.. so we ended up playing with the little monster. He's insanely expensive - around $1500 - and requires high maintenance too.. crap! I don't even maintain myself, how can I maintain you, you little most adorable thing I've ever seen in my 24 (crap! I just typed 22.. can't believe I'm 24.. crap!) years of living.. I WANT A PUGGGGG.. mr pugsley wusley musley.. heheh.. hehehe.. hehehe..
Anywayyy.. I'm not putting anything on my desk until I settle.. And this is what I would want to sit on my desk.. just next to the monitor. What do you think it tells about me? Don't say a sweet tooth, cos I'm not..
