Ice lemon tea

I've been very unproductive today.. After being awaken by someone who said would call back but didn't do so, nothing I did today was going to make the world a better place for us to live in *sigh* If I were a superhero, maybe my day wouldn't be as unproductive.. I'd be running.. or flying around the city saving people's lives..

Anywayyy.. It's starting to get cold here in Melbourne.. It's past midnight, you're all alone, feeling a bit bored and maybe thirsty.. what else would you want but a glass of ICE LEMON TEA!! Well it's your lucky day, I'm taking you through the steps in making a kick ass ice lemon tea!

Things you need:
White Sugar
Lemon fresh or bottled
Tea
Hot water
Ice
Kettle
Glass or cup, anything

Put tea and 4 teaspoons of sugar in your cup, and brew it! Then put alot of ice.

Do you know that as I blog, Hewitt is playing against Nadal at the Roland Garros.. it's the 4th set now, Nadal's won 2 sets, Hewitt 1..

I'm sadly looking at the scores on livescore.net.. I wanna watch the game!! But me no Foxtel.. pay for my Foxtel subscription?? Anybody??? Hehehe

Lalu lalu, all you've gotta do left is put the lemon juice in, some water, stir.. and VOILA!! KICK ASS ICE LEMON TEA!! A little tip from me, the recipe is not suitable to be served hot (I know it's bloody freezing, but if a glass of ice lemon tea is too cold for you.. put your heater on!) I've tried making the hot version for a friend, and she said that it tasted like horse pee (I don't know how she knew how horse pee tastes, maybe she was a horse diaper in her previous life or something hehehe.. peace!) So if you don't intend to taste horse pee, serve it cold! Oh, and d
on't forget to clean the mess you've made :)

As Frankie once said: "I did it my way".

I put the sugar, lemon and the tea and brew them together.

You need to shake them babe, don't just stir them together.

This is the one we use in Cafe La, Atrium Bar, Sofi's Lounge:

1. Strong tea 30ml (earl grey is nice too)

2. Along with that stir-in sugar (to the your preference)

3. Lemon juice, half should be fine

4. A mint leaf

5. Water to cover you glass

6. With lots of ice in the shakers, shake 1-5

7. Pour in to your glass (preferable not a mug)

Enjoy..
