Ignorance = bliss?

Every relationship has its baggage.. big, small, medium.. it comes in many sizes, but it still is a baggage! I remember in high school I was upset because my then boyfriend, kept a tiny photo sticker of his ex in his wallet. I was too proud to ask him politely to take it off and I was too broke to buy him a new wallet.. so it stayed there until one day, my girlfriend who knew about my not liking the photo, took it off, with his permission of course, when we were playing with his wallet.. hehe..

It was high school. As we grow older, sometimes the baggage gets bigger. And sometimes the baggage gets so big that it is too hard to handle. I have a friend who has a habit of throwing away or burning everything that is ex-boyfriend related after she broke up. I guess it helps her get over her exes. Her next boyfriend would then be one of those lucky ones.. the ones who don't have to worry about the so called baggage.

Me.. I keep stuff my exes have given me.. or have stolen from them hehe.. but I would say that I don't have that kind of baggage. I keep those things because I like them, not because of their sentimental values. It doesn't matter what you do to those stuff, it's what's in your heart that matters. Whether you're letting it go.. hehehe. I still reckon keeping your ex's photo in your wallet is a BIG no no though.

Anyway.. I don't know about you, but I'm nosy.. I tend to dig information about the other party's baggage, although I know I might find something I would not be happy about. I have a friend (whom I have regarded as my own sister) who does the exact opposite. She blocks out all the information she wouldn't like to know, and even sometimes replaces them with her version of truth.. that's how she refers to it. I call it ignorance, but then she said that ignorance is a bliss. Is it? Is it not? Should we start making our own version of truth?

what's truth? it's the same question like asking what's real?

Is reality defined by what we see through our eyes.....is it really what perceive in our brain?

I know my version of truth, if you buy Kompilasi Pengamen Melbourne CD, you can find one of their songs called To End.

Truth? Quoting Extreme, there are 3 sides of every story; yours, mine and Monday Morning's (I guess this refers to the facts) *serious mode on*

*off again*

hahaha tralalala
