A friend of mine called me up out of the blue yesterday and suggested that I join my other friend for a pole dancing lesson. Apparently he gave this other friend a voucher for a two hour lesson as a present for her birthday.
It is amazing how these days people are turning things that they used to shy away from into a money making scheme. I guess it was Carmen Electra who pioneered it with her Fit to Strip dvds.. then people started to make more dvds.. lessons.. and now striptease, pole dancing, burlesque classes are available everywhere.. and they put the title "exercise" as a camouflage.
Maybe camouflage is not the correct expression, I mean they do give you exercise benefits for sure as it's very strenuous.. and it's a whole lot of fun (since you'll be getting some new skills while you're exercising).. but what's happenned to the old fashioned exercise? Have people's needs of sex increased so much that even exercise has to be related with something sexual? And why is it that women who are exposed? Well there are male strippers too, but the percentage is smaller than female strippers.. and I don't think men will go for striptease classes to exercise.. I don't think there are male pole dancers either... are there??? I reckon it's not that pleasing looking at men hanging upside down on a pole.. or is it??? *one eyebrow raise high*
Okie dokie then.. I'm still not sure whether I'd go with my friend to that pole dancing lesson.. I'll write about it had I decided to.. Bye now!

Hmmm, well in a sense pole dancing is always regarded as something sexual but is it ? Pole dancing is like gymnastic with a vertical bar. I do support pole dancing as a exercise and not because I'm being a GUY who think with his ****. But seriously, doing some of the pole dancing moves can be challenging.
However, on the note that a guy actually gives a girl a gift voucher for pole dancing lesson is a bit weird (very weird).
