The one with the job

I’ve got a new routine. Starting yesterday, I will spend my weekday mornings (by morning I mean sometime around 7 a.m., not my normal morning which is more like 11 a.m.) waking up, getting my bum into the shower, thinking hard on where is best to take a dump and whether to get take-away coffee or just make one at the office. Yes, people.. I’m finally earning a living. Not the way I’d prefer, but it pays the bills (well, not yet, since I’ve only been working for 1 and a half day now hehe).

It’s a non-stress role in an company located in East Melbourne. It’s the high rise building (remind me to check the number of levels in this building, it’s sometimes amazing how inattentive I could be) 2 shops away from Laurent. So, anybody who would wanna have lunch with me, do buzz me on my direct line! Hehehe.. yes, I got my own extension, email, passkey and stationery.. haha.. Those things excite me hihihi.. I’m so cheap. You should’ve seen my face when Vicky showed me the stationery cabinet. I was like a little girl on her first visit to a candy shop. But the coolest part of this company would be their intranet website. It’s like the office version of friendster. You can check out everybody's profile even though they're not your friend *sarcastic smile to people who don't let their fs profile open for everybody to see*

So.. if you wanna know what someone looks like (this comes in very handy for me as it's too bloody hard to memorize everybody's name so quickly), you can go to the website, enter the name.. and voila! A page with the person's details and photo will come up. Wait.. it gets better! When you don't know the person's name, but you know where he/she works (i.e. which level of which building) or in what department, you can easily browse through the entire level/building/department. HOW COOL IS THAT! Hehehehehe.. Oh, and one more thing.. My division is called CPU.. hahaha.. close enough to CTU.. I HEART JACK BAUER!

Anyway, I was planning to spend my lunch break writing an entry for this blog today, but when I typed in the web address, this is what came up.I know I know, it's friendster that I was trying to open (for you who pays attention), but it reacted the same with blogger.com. Crappy office internet with stoopid "block pornography" crap. Blergh! Hihihihi.. So now I've gotta write in MS Words and paste it at home. Blergh!

An intermezzo: I just found someone whose surname is Cockshutt and owns a massage business in a suburb called Humpty Doo. Sometimes I'm glad that I don't have a surname.. although at the office, I do have one..

And that is pretty much gonna be my every weekday scenery for the next couple of weeks or so. The resident of the empty seat is Ken Silver.. not that it matters.. hehehe.. Someone.. anyone.. please give me a more challenging job.. Promise I'll be good.. I won't blog or check my friendster at work.. hehehehe...
